Hermann Laurore, 67, of Hartford, CT died Thursday, July 25, 2019 at St. Francis Hospital, Hartford, CT. Hermann was born in Haiti and was the son of the late Elvius and Felicita (Lys) Laurore. He worked as a cook at Kentucky Fried Chicken for several years.

Hermann is survived by his nine children - Hermite Laurore-Jean and her husband Rodrique of Haiti, Marlene Laurore, Ermithe Laurore-Denize and her husband Aristhene, Sonite Laurore, Lalonie Laurore, Chansler Laurore, Clifford Laurore, Clievens Laurore and Estada Laurore all of Hartford, CT, his four sisters Clairlisse Laurore, Meralia Laurore, Phila Laurore, his seven brothers Lecleme Laguerre, Heureuse Maurice, Vernet Lys, Anel Alcindor, Ebelle Laurore, Elvilor Barret and Exenor Laurore and his grandchildren Ejiroghene and Eseoghene.
Homegoing Celebration for Hermann will be held Saturday, August 3, 2019 at 9 a.m. at Mt. Olive Church, 20 Battles St., Hartford, CT with the Rev. Jean Amos Lys, Pastor, presiding. Committal service and final resting place will be in Mountainview Cemetery, 30 Mountain Ave., Bloomfield, CT. Relatives and friends may call at the Paul A.
