Lucien Paradis, 73, of New Britain, CT. died Friday, December 20, 2019 at the Hospital of Central CT @ New Britain General. Lucien was born in Fort Kent, ME and was the son of the late Felix and Hattie (Guimond) Paradis. He worked as a truck driver for Amodio Moving & Storage for forty years.

Lucien is survived by his beloved wife Marie (Daigle) Paradis, his son Elmer Paradis and his wife Christine, whom he considered his daughter all of New Britain, CT., his four brothers Alva Paradis of Plainville, CT., Victor Paradis of New Britain, CT., Edgar Paradis and his wife Gale of Bristol, CT., and Norman Paradis of New Britain, CT., his sister Doris Dyer of Newington, CT., his two grandchildren Matthew Paradis and his fiancé Mary Lund of Florida and Michael Paradis of New Britain, CT., and his great grandson Cody as well as several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Lucien was predeceased by his son Lucien Paradis, Jr., his two sisters Theresa Tilley and Renette Cyr, his five brothers Roland Paradis, Sr., Leo Paradis, Sr., Gilman Paradis, Sr., James Paradis, Sr., and Felix Paradis, Jr., and his two sisters-in-law Francis Paradis and Vita Paradis.
Funeral rites for Lucien will be held Tuesday, December 24, 2019 at 8:30 a.m. with the procession departing at 9 a.m. from the Paul A. Shaker Funeral Home, 764 Farmington Ave., New Britain, CT., followed by a Liturgy of Christian Burial at St. Katharine Drexel Parish, (St. Jerome Church) 1010 Slater Rd., New Britain, CT. Committal service and final resting place will be in St. Mary Cemetery, 1141 Stanley St., New Britain, CT. Relatives and friends may call at the Paul A.
