Calvin Harris, Jr., 45, of New Britain, CT died Thursday, July 2, 2020 in Hartford, CT. Calvin was born in Hartford, CT and was the son of the late Calvin Harris, Sr. and Margie Wright-Rivera. He was the light of the room he got along with everyone he would give you the shirt off of his back. Calvin was very easy going and loved by everyone he would encounter with his charming smile and his beloved spirited mannerism. He loved all sports; he was a super fan of the Chicago Bears. Calvin was educated in the New Britain CT school system. He worked as a shipping and receiving specialist. Calvin was loved by all and will be truly missed.

Calvin leaves to cherish his precious memories his children, Brandon Crockett, Calvin, Kevin and Nigel Harris all of New Britain CT, his daughter Trenydi Moore of Hartford, CT, his three brothers Juan Wright of Chesapeake, VA, Drake and Brad Harris of New Britain, CT, his grandchildren: Brandon Crockett, Jr., Javon Posey, Amir Crockett, Caliah Harris and Nylani Harris, his beloved grandmother Ophelia Wright of Utica, NY and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Homegoing Celebration for Calvin will be held Saturday, July 11, 2020 at 10 a.m. at First Church of the Living God, 70 Whitney St., Hartford, CT with the Bishop Jesse J. White, Pastor, presiding. Committal service and final resting place will be in Fairview Cemetery, 120 Smalley St., New Britain, CT. Relatives and friends may join during the calling hours; Saturday from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. at the First Church of the Living God. Service of Comfort and Compassion provided by the Paul A.
