Although she is my sister in law I always consider her my sister.
To My Sister…
I’m blessed to call you sister,
I also call you friend;
You’ve loved me unconditionally,
And stood through thick and thin.

You’ve shared my joys and sorrows,
My laughter and my tears.
You’ve been my inspiration,
As we grew up through the years.

When we were little children
We laughed and played together;
Then growing up you stood by me,
Through good and stormy weather.

There’s something God has given us,
That’s more than family;
He’s placed a love for you, my Sister,
Deep down in the heart of me

I have known Barbara all my life. She was a devoted, daughter,sister, aunt and great-aunt and friend. She loved life, she liked to travel and visit family. She was kind and compassionate. She would give you the shirt off her back. She was my first protector as we grew up, she always made sure that no one bothered me. She loved to shop, we would get dressed up and shop from sunrise till sunset. To know her was to love her. When I would home for a visit every place we visited people would say oh you must be her sister from Texas. Barbara although you have entered from labor to rest, you have left a legacy, your life has impacted so many people. I will miss you so much, but I know I will see you again! Love you sweetheart.
