Arletha "Willie" Summerville Of Middletown, CT loving wife departed this life on December 10, 2020. Born In Laurinburg, NC, she graduated from Maggie L. Walker High School In Richmond VA, she lived most of her life in CT. She was known and will be remembered for her vibrant spirt passion for music and dancing and being the life of the party; she will be greatly missed. She retired from General Electric "GE" of Plainville, CT after making many friends and working there for over 40 years. She is survived by her beloved husband of 54 years of marriage to Walter Summerville of Middletown, CT. Sisters Katie Harris of New Britain, CT, Hazel Dowden and husband Donald, Lucrecita Brown, Donnita Wilkins brothers Walter Brown and wife Robin, Timothy Brown all of Richmond, VA. and Ozell Brown of Middletown, CT. She is also loved and survived by 9 nephews and 16 nieces many great nieces and nephews and a host of friends, cousin in-law Leonard Gatson of Conway, NC and longtime friends Dianna and Walter Dozier of Middletown, . She is predeceased by her parents Lessie (Brown) Johnson and Willie Brown Jr., sister's Christine Belk, Agnes Green, Marilyn Minor, Suzette Minor, and Brother Claude Brown all of Richmond, VA. Service will be held graveside at Fairview Cemetery in New Britain, CT on Monday, December 21, 2020 at 11AM. The Paul A. Shaker Funeral Home, 764 Farmington Ave., New Britain, CT has charge of arrangements.
