Linda A. Gagnon 1950-2021
Linda Ann Gagnon, 70, of East Hampton, Connecticut, passed away unexpectedly Sunday,
January 10, 2021 due to complications of recently diagnosed Acute Myeloid Leukemia.
Born in Manchester, Connecticut on September 15, 1950, she was the oldest daughter of
the late Raymond H. and Anna B. Gagnon.
She was a graduate of Manchester High School class of 1968 and earned an Associates
Degree from Arapahoe Community College while living in Colorado. After returning to
Connecticut, she was hired by Connecticut Valley Hospital in 1987 to manage the medical
records department; a position she held until the day she was hospitalized four weeks before
her passing.
On February 14, 2015, she was wed to her loving husband Kenneth Lance, of East Hampton,
who survives her.
She is also survived by her two adoring, much loved daughters, Amy Krell, of East
Hampton, and Alison Krell of Bristol, Connecticut.
She will be greatly missed by her sister, Joyce Brookins and husband Don, of Broomfield,
Colorado, and brother, Dennis Gagnon and wife Karen, of Putnam, Connecticut. She was
predeceased by her brother, Stephen.
For leisure, Linda enjoyed gardening, cooking, shopping for fun and beautiful items for her
home, and doting on her two rambunctious daschunds Sugar and Spice.
Family, friends and colleagues will long remember her as one who remembered only the good;
sought to help others; enjoyed a good laugh even at her own expense; and always searched
for unique things to grace her home.
Linda’s valiant fight was aided by the dedicated efforts of an unparalleled team of of healthcare
workers who kept Linda’s well-being in the forefront of every decision made regarding her care.
No words can capture our profound appreciation to all of them.
A private family memorial is tentatively planned for August of this year.
