Myrna Watkins, 64, of Plainville, CT died Sunday, January 17, 2021. Myrna was born in the Philippines and was the daughter of the late Guillermo, Sr. and Rosario (Buasan) Cruz. She came to America from the Philippines and has lived here since 1979. Myrna was loved by friends and family and had a generous heart.
Myrna is survived by her daughter Julie Anne Watkins, her son George Wrolstad, her four sisters Gloria Holmquist, Rosalina Wrolstad, Lorna Cruz and Julie Cruz. Myrna was predeceased by her two sisters Corazon Coale and Teresita Cruz and her two brothers Romulo Cruz and Guillermo Cruz, Jr.
A Celebration of Myrna’s life will be held Sunday, January 31, 2021 at 5 p.m. from the Paul A. Shaker Funeral Home, 764 Farmington Ave., New Britain, CT. Burial will be private. Relatives and friends may call at the Paul A.
