Maryann (Kovaleski) Waluk, 78, of Kensington, CT loving wife of over fifty-seven years of Joseph Waluk, peacefully passed away Thursday, February 18, 2021 at The Arden House in Hamden. Maryann was born in Bristol, CT on January 27, 1943, daughter of the late Stanley and Celia (Roman) Kovaleski. She was a devoted wife, loving mother and proud grandmother. Maryann was a graduate of Terryville High School. She was a member and an officer of Timberlin Women’s Golf Club and Southern New England Women’s Golf Assoc. for many years. Maryann enjoyed gardening and feeding the wildlife in her yard. She worked as a Bookkeeper for Waluk’s Auto Service and in the office at Farmington Care Manor.
In addition to her beloved husband Joseph, Maryann is survived by her daughters, Betty Waluk Connolly of Bristol, CT and Theresa Cline of Kensington, CT, grandchildren Joseph Luciano of New Britain, CT and Anya Borowy of Bristol, CT. She also leaves two great grand dogs that she loved very much, Kimber and Rex.
Funeral services and burial will be private. There are no calling hours. The Paul A. Shaker Funeral Home, 764 Farmington Ave., New Britain, CT. has charge of arrangements. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Maryann’s name may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association ( To extend condolences to the Waluk family please visit our website @
